Ogden, Utah April 30, 2009 – Hill AFB and the 309th Software Maintenance Wing has awarded a 5-year ID/IQ contract valued up to $48M to Gauss Management Research and Engineering (GMRE Inc.) based in South Ogden, Utah.
Under the terms of the contract, GMRE will provide services to the 309th Software Maintenance Group (309SMXG), including documentation, design, development, and testing of embedded and support software and hardware for weapon systems platforms.
GMRE President Mike Gauss sees the contract award as a major step forward in the continuing growth of the company. “Contract awards of this magnitude are a strong validation of our capabilities, reliability, and responsiveness.”
GMRE is currently negotiating similar large contracts outside the US, but is committed to maintaining its base of operations in Northern Utah in order to take full advantage of a stable, highly trained workforce.
