GMRE is proud to announce it has been selected as a Small Business Prime on the Design Engineering Support Program (DESP) III contract  with a ceiling amount at $1.9B. DESP III is a five-year multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract vehicle providing a broad range of engineering services in support of any system or subsystem within the Air Force and other DoD agencies.  Task Orders support specific objectives which focus on improving system life cycle cost, operational life, performance, sustainment including maintainability and support, and safety and environmental friendliness. GMRE Contract Award Announcement:

(South Ogden, UT) October 19, 2011:  
GMRE is awarded a $1.4M contract to support the Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Command Test Center (AATC) to provide development and integration of emerging technologies in order to modernize current capabilities and insert cutting edge technological advances to improve tactics for the warfighters of the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve Command.  These initiatives will affect airborne and ground systems, including equipment and personnel.  

AATC conducts Operational Test (OT) on behalf of each MAJCOM and possesses 7 Block 25/32 aircraft to support the primary mission of F-16 Operational Flight Program (OFP) testing. AATC also operates a temporary A-10A OT detachment at Davis-Monthan AFB, with the support of the 917 th Wing, Barksdale AFB, LA and the host 355 th Wing. AATC also is tasked and accomplishes testing on a wide variety of other ARC aircraft, including F16 Block 40/42, B-52, F-15A/B, HH-60, HC-130 and electronic combat systems for those aircraft. AATC has also conducted testing in support of Air Mobility Command on C-130, C-5, KC-10 and KC-135 aircraft.

 

GMRE Contract Award Announcement:

(South Ogden, UT) October 4, 2011: 

GMRE is awarded a $10M contract to support Integration of Advanced Tactics Development and Innovative Training for Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTACs) for the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) and United States Marine Corps (USMC).

Teamed with Air USA, GMRE will help establish prototype Close Air Support capabilities for AFSOC AND USMC JTAC personnel through integration, demonstration, flight test and evaluation, tactics development and testing.  The tasks requires contractor owned aircraft and ground support for JTAC development and test of full-immersion video and Digitally Aided Close Air Support (DACAS), including the control and release of operationally realistic weapons in a simulated combat environment.

GMRE is awarded a $1.4M contract to support software engineering functions in the acquisition, production, and management effort for A-10 aircraft modifications and other programs managed within OO-ALC/GHAEA, at Hill AFB, UT. The major programs supported are engineering design for Suite 8 and beyond, Bus Network Enhancements (Ethernet), Flight/Engine Instruments, CDU Replacement, and HMCS programs.

 

GMRE wins GSA Professional Engineering Services (PES) 871 Schedule Award supporting Air National Guard for: AVIONICS, MECHANICAL, AND STRUCTURAL MODIFICATION INSTALLATION, INTEGRATION, AND TEST SUPPORT.   

With this contract award, GMRE continues to provide a wide range of engineering support/integration for aircraft avionics, mechanical, and structural upgrade programs that are designed to modernize and sustain aircraft to include but not limited to RC-26, KC-135s, C/EC/HC/MC-130s, C-5s, F-16C/Ds, A-10Cs, HH-60Gs, MQ-1 predator, MQ-9 Reaper, and F-15C/Ds in order to meet warfighting capability requirements.  Additionally, GMRE provides integration engineering and test and acquisition support for ANG RC-26s (ISADS, Avionics Modernization, Adaptable Communications Suite), C-130s (RTIC), KC-135s (RTIC), Reapers (Tactical Data-Link), Predators (Tactical Data-Link), F-16s (HMIT, CDU, BLOS, Radio Upgrade, AESA Radar, AIFF, IRST Pod), A-10s (HMIT), HH-60s (SADL, SMFCD, Secure Multi-Spectrum Radio, Improved/Advanced Weapon Systems, HMIT), and F-15s (IRST)avionics, mechanical, and structural modifications to including technical requirements definition, aircraft avionics integration, systems engineering, design engineering, cost assessment and control, and integrated logistics engineering.

 

 

 

GMRE awarded SeaPort-e multiple Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with $38B ceiling

NAVSEA has awarded GMRE a multiple Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for a wide range of engineering, technical, and programmatic services and solutions for the Virtual SYSCOM (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, NAVSUP, SPAWAR, Strategic Systems Program (SSP), NAVFAC) as well as Commander, Naval Installations (CNI) and the US Marine Corps. SeaPort-e furthers the Navy's Seapower 21 objective to increase efficiency, and allows for tailoring services according to the needs of geographically-dispersed organizations with significantly diverse product area requirements and missions.  GMRE looks forward to expanding their current capabilities into the Navy and Marine Corps mission requirements.

(PES) Schedule

(South Ogden, UT) October 27, 2009 – Gauss Management Research and Engineering, Inc. (GMRE) today announced it has been awarded a contract (Schedule 871) by the General Services Administration entitled “Professional Engineering Services (PES.)”

The contract has a base period of performance of 1 year, plus 4 option periods of one year. PES was established by the GSA to provide Federal, State, Local, and UN agencies with solutions for their various engineering requirements and allow those agencies to procure needed services/solutions. GMRE’s PES award schedule/contract grants all Federal, State, Local, and UN agencies worldwide direct access to GMRE’s engineering and related technical expertise across the full life cycle of engineering projects. “This long term contract will provide GMRE’s customers with a stable, convenient, efficient, and cost-effective alternative for contracting high quality engineering services at a very competitive price” said GMRE’s Vice President of Operations, Jay Mosley.

$48 Million USAF Contract Awarded to Local Company

Ogden, Utah April 30, 2009 – Hill AFB and the 309th Software Maintenance Wing has awarded a 5-year ID/IQ contract valued up to $48M to Gauss Management Research and Engineering (GMRE Inc.) based in South Ogden, Utah.

Under the terms of the contract, GMRE will provide services to the 309th Software Maintenance Group (309SMXG), including documentation, design, development, and testing of embedded and support software and hardware for weapon systems platforms.

GMRE President Mike Gauss sees the contract award as a major step forward in the continuing growth of the company. "Contract awards of this magnitude are a strong validation of our capabilities, reliability, and responsiveness."

GMRE is currently negotiating similar large contracts outside the US, but is committed to maintaining its base of operations in Northern Utah in order to take full advantage of a stable, highly trained workforce.
